Thadd Turner founded Talmarc Film Productions in 2004. He is a member of the Writers
Guild of America (WGA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and Western Writers of America (WWA). Thadd won the 2010 Western Heritage
Wrangler Award as actor for his portrayal of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp in the History Channel's Cowboys and
Outlaws: The Real Wyatt Earp, won the 2007 Western Heritage Award Wrangler as executive producer for the family
drama Truce and won the 2006 Spur Award for Best Feature Drama Script from the Western Writers of America for his
original screenplay Miracle at Sage Creek. Producer,
director, writer, actor, model and published author, Thadd has written over a dozen screenplays and has appeared
on film, television and commercials for over twenty years. Director duties include country music artist Clay Walker's
music video Jesse James and Western
features Texas Hold Em, Palominas and The Hard Ride. Thadd wrote the original screenplays for
the three films and will produce.
Other
screenplays in active development include, action cop-drama The Rez inspired by true events about a DEA agent battling the
Mexican Drug Cartels; family adventure-fantasy Johnny Kidd about a young boy looking for Poseidon's
trident stolen by 17th century pirates, with the William Morris Agency and National Football League on board from an
original story by Thadd's son Wyatt Turner; family drama Buttermilk Sky
about a loner ex-rodeo rider who befriends a streetwise orphan girl while he tries to make amends with his former
fiance; gritty Western Palominas, about a rancher and down trodden Sheriff who battle hired gunmen at the turn of
the century; buddy-action
Gold Run, about two friends who must run for their lives after a gold heist goes bad in Mexico; sci-fi thriller,
Prophet Margin, about a wealthy media mogul who uncovers time travel and tries to record the birth of Christ for
profit. Film projects include The Last Horseman, Taxidermist, A Meadowlark Calling, and Bloody
Knuckles.

City - End of Trail" was released in 2001.

wrote and produced Miracle at Sage Creek with David Carradine. He won the 2010 Western Heritage Award for his portrayal

American West.

coordination as needed.
Thadd was a contributing editor to True West Magazine for two years and has written
feature stories for Wild West Magazine, WOLA Journal, Deadwood Magazine, Points West Magazine, Arabian
Horse International and provided historical research and information on Texas Jack Omohundro for the Buffalo Bill
Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming.
