James Butler "Wild Bill" Hickok ca. 1873-74. The 'Prince of Pistoleers' arrived in Deadwood City just one week
after the 4th of July Centennial Celebrations, on about July 12, 1876. He would spend less than one month in the booming
gold rush town.

to his final resting place at Mount Moriah Cemetery on August 3, 1879- exactly three years to the date after his first burial.
