Thadd Turner is a member of the Writers Guild
of America (WGA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG), Western Writers of America (WWA), and winner of the 2006 Spur Award for
his original screenplay Miracle at Sage Creek.
Producer, writer, actor, and author, Thadd has
written over a dozen screenplays and has appeared on film, television, and commercial features, and will make his directing
debut for the upcoming family drama A Meadowlark Calling based on the screenplay he adapted from the
book by author Patricia Martin.
Thadd will produce and direct the fast-paced action
Western The Hard Ride with legendary stunt coordinator and director Terry Leonard to be shot in New
Mexico. Thadd wrote the original screenplay, with domestic distribution through Universal Entertainment/Screen Media
Films.
Thadd is also producing the Disney-style family
feature Buttermilk Sky with Michael Madsen and Lawrence Steinberg's Lost Horses Inc., scheduled
to shoot in November and December 2006 in New Mexico, and has co-written and will produce the family thriller Wild Michigan with Collective Development's
DJ Perry and Anthony Hornus in 2007.
Recent completed films include
the holiday family Western Miracle at Sage Creek (with David Carradine, Wes Studi, Irene Bedard, and Buck
Taylor), the horror feature 7 Mummies (with Danny Trejo, Billy Drago, Matt Schulze, and Cerina Vincent), Comanche
Moon, Legend of El Charro, The Long Ride Home, On The Set of Miracle at Sage Creek, Native Wisdom,
and Wild in The West.
Published author, Thadd's non-fiction hard cover book "Wild
Bill Hickok: Deadwood City - End of Trail" was released in 2001.
Films written by Thadd and
scheduled for 2007 and 2008, include the horror feature Taxidermist, epic Western The Last Horseman, and
buddy-action adventure Gold Run.
Thadd provided technical
support for the pilot of HBO's hit series Deadwood, and other recent cable work includes Animal Planet's On
The Set of Miracle at Sage Creek; Discovery Channel's Wild and The West ; History Channel's The Day
They Died; Canadian Broadcast Corp's The Gunslingers; and German AZ Media's The American West.
Miracle at Sage Creek
was filmed at Old Tucson Studios' Mescal set location near Benson, Arizona, and is now available wide

Thadd has provided live
theater, radio, and living history reenactments. Character portrayals include frontier western scouts, lawmen, cowboys, outlaws,
mountain men, and cavalry from the time period of the late 1800's. Thadd specializes in this time period, and can provide
talent, stunts, horses, tack, firearms, costuming, mounted shooting stunts, consulting, and production coordination as
needed.
Thadd was a contributing editor to True
West Magazine for two years, and has provided feature stories for Wild West Magazine, WOLA Journal, Deadwood
Magazine, Points West Magazine, Arabian Horse International, and provided historical research and information on
Texas Jack Omohundro for the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming.

Thadd has provided live modeling for some
of the top Western artists in the United States, including such notables as Ron Stewart, Barry Eisenach, Karin Hollenbeke,
Charles Fritz, Joe Netherwood, Larry Vetter, Joe Glyda, George Justin, and Edward Holmes.
